Winners of the 11th Falling Walls Lab Prague, Czech Republic 2026
- 1st place and Audience Award – Marie Vestenická (Charles University) – Breaking the Wall of Math Complexity
- 2nd place – Radek Páleník (VSB – Technical University of Ostrava) – Breaking the Wall of Generative Design
- 3rd place – Patrik Lindovský (Masaryk University) – Breaking the Wall Between Drug and Delivery
- Award for Women Innovators – Jana Kurcová (Mendel University in Brno) – Breaking the Wall of Systematic Chemotherapy Toxicity
- During the evening, we had the opportunity to witness the 10,000th presentation in the global history of the Falling Walls Lab competition—delivered by Magdaléna Malásková from Mendel University in Brno who won a ticket to the Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin in November 2026.
National Library of Technology
The National Library of Technology (NTK) is the largest and the oldest library of science and technology literature in the Czech Republic, with a collection of over 1.5 million volumes. Housed in a modern, ecological building situated in the heart of the Dejvice engineering and technology campus, NTK provides an ideal environment for studying to students and scholars, with 1 322 places to study and 562 places to relax. In addition, the library serves as a social and cultural centre, with frequent lectures, educational tours, events, and exhibitions.
