Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic

The national round of the competition will take place on 15 September 2026 at 5 PM at the National Library of Technology in Prague (in cooperation with the German Embassy in Prague and German Academic Exchange Service – DAAD).

30 April Call open for applications You can start applying for participation in the competition. Please read following instructions carefully before applying.
30 June Application deadline The last day when you can apply for Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic.
6 August Shortlisting of candidates Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to take part at the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic event in September. The organizers will inform all candidates about the result by 7 August via e-mail.
6 September Deadline for Submission of presentations from the selected candidates
10 September Audience deadline
15 September The Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic Finale The national round of the competition will be held in Prague at the National Library of Technology at 5 PM
6-9 November Falling Walls Science Summit in Berlin The winners of local Labs travel to the Global Finale in Berlin. All finalists can also attend the prestigious Falling Walls Conference, which takes place on 6 - 9 November.

Falling Walls Czech Republic Event

The national round of the competition will take place on 15 September 2026 at the National Library of Technology in Prague (in cooperation with the German Embassy in Prague and German Academic Exchange Service).

Finalists will present their projects or ideas in front of an audience and respected jury at the National Library of Technology (NTK). After the last one is done with presenting, the jury will choose one winner, who will represent the Czech Republic at the Global Finale in Germany in November.

The organisers are independent partners of the Falling Walls Foundation. The Czech organizer reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to the Czech National Falling Walls Lab 2026. The selection process will be based on criteria set by Falling Walls Foundation Berlin.
